Portland, Maine – ‘the San Francisco of the East’

Portland, Maine just got a little more praise - Chicago Tribune travel writer Josh Noel recently documented his trip to the best city in the U.S. and was left with quite the impression.

According to Josh, “Its most endearing feature is a cozy, Old World charm.”

Portland definitely has charm, as he references several local spots – J’s Oyster, Allagash Brewing, Fore Street, Petit Jacqueline, and Hugo’s.

Josh’s adventures in Portland are just a reminder of all the wonderful things this city has to offer, whether you’re just visiting or a seasoned local. Go Portland!
