The Coast Guard Cutter Eagle will be arriving in Portland at 10 a.m. tomorrow and will be docked there until Monday, offering free tours throughout the weekend for the public to enjoy as part of its 2012 cruise.
Tours are available on Friday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Built in the late 1850′s, the Victorian Mansion is a gorgeous brownstone building located in the Arts District featuring amazing architecture and a stunning interior. Tours of the magnificent building are open to the public to showcase the pre-Civil War furnishings (art work, furniture, stained glass) and woodworkings, and the continued efforts to restore the wonderful landmark. Make your way to the Victorian Mansion to appreciate and preserve a piece of history right here in Portland.
