Chocolate. Portland. Lovers Fling. Yes, please!

The 25th Annual Chocolate Lover’s Fling is set for Sunday, April 3, from 1-4pm at the Holiday Inn By The Bay at 88 Spring Street in Portland. The well attended event and also largest fundraiser to benefit Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine (SARSSM) will feature many delightful treats from the best chocolatiers around Cumberland and York counties.

Who wouldn’t want to indulge on fudge, truffles, mousse and more! Last year, over 700 chocolate lover’s made the journey and satisfied their sweet tooth. So what are you waiting for? General Admission is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. VIP admission is $50. There will be raffle tickets for a number of door prizes as well.

Dash of Diva Girls’ Night Out is back and better than ever at the Holiday Inn By the Bay at 88 Spring Street in Portland on Friday, October 22. After a number of well-attended diva events, this night of “friends, fashion, and shopping” sounds like it will take the cake ladies.

With a portion of proceeds benefiting the Maine Women’s Fund, where else would you rather be next Friday, from 5:30pm to 10pm, then enjoying an evening jam packed with entertainment. For only $12, you’ll gain admission to the event, a gift bag, and a pink boa, all while having an opportunity to receive instruction on belly dancing and zumba, tasting various wines, beers, and vodka, and experiencing two fashion shows, karaoke with Coast 93.1, and music with DJ Erich Kruger.

Evening with the Portland Pirates featuring Motor Booty Affair

On Wednesday, February 17, join the Portland Professional Hockey Booster Club and your Portland Pirates, the AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres for the annual 2010 Evening with the Pirates. The event will take place at the Holiday Inn By The Bay on Spring Street with a dancing and entertainment by Motor Booty Affair along with a great silent auction. Over the past 10 years, the event has raised over $225,000 for local charities.
