Google and the clean energy ideas and technologies of tomorrow will be the key topic of the National Resources Council of Maine (NRCM) Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 7, at Hannaford Hall on the University of Southern Maine Portland Campus.
Featured and keynote speaker, Dan Reicher, Director of Climate Change and Energy Initiatives at Google, will deliver his thoughts and Google’s strategy and vision on cleaner energy and how they predict it will create jobs, cut energy costs, and improve our well-being in many facets. Prior to his position with Google, Mr. Reicher was Assistant Secretary at the US Department of Energy, and is considered one of the leading clean energy experts.
The event will begin with a reception at 6:30pm followed by Mr. Reicher’s presentation at 7:30pm, which is free and open to the public. You may want to RSVP for the event, which can be done via the NRCM’s website – HERE
