Do you think you have what it takes to make it on ‘The Real World’, MTV’s long running hit reality television show?
Well, you’re in luck, as this Saturday, May 1st, casting directors will be in Portland at Binga’s Stadium Smokehouse & Sports Bar (77 Free Street), from 10am to 5pm in search of cast members for it’s newest season. While it has not been disclosed where the next season will film, we do know that Portland is one of 35 cities hosting an audition for the show which will air next winter.
So what to expect…First, you must be between 18 and 24 years old, and bring along a photo ID, in addition to a recent photo of yourself which the casting crew will not return (they place this with your file so they remember you when it’s time to select who makes and doesn’t make the cut). Second, you’ll be placed in a group of 10 people to meet for about 10 minutes with the shows casting crew.
From personal experience in casting for reality television shows, you’ll want to be on your “A” game. Be yourself, but at the same time interact highly with everyone and be memorable.
